All Saints leather jacket — yay or nay?
I’m weighing an offer from Deloitte GPS in Human Capital (consultant level, 2.5 YOE). I’ve seen previous posts about all the people Deloitte laid off last year and I’m a bit nervous to accept because of it. Does anyone know if Deloitte is still doing layoffs? Was/Is it in commercial or GPS? And what were the reasons for the layoffs?

Filed together with all the other forms in Feb 2021. Approved after 2 weeks with premium processing
Genuinely happy for you OP, while i can't stop laughing at the irony that you didn't even have to care if it was an EB1 or 2 since PD was always current.

I hear you, but also I arrived in this country 13 years ago. The US also gives us only 1-year visas (vs I think Indian citizens can get 5-year visas), so I’ve had many, many visa applications all around the world and many delays, cancelations, rejections, new flights, tears at the airport etc. Couldn’t even fly home when my dad died
Our pains are all different. It’s not the suffering Olympics. I hope you get your card soon!

Update: Card in hand!!! I RAN to the mailbox in my bathrobe. Hopefully didn’t flash anyone 😂😂 good luck to all!!
Do you have to do PERM as a EB1 applicant?
And congrats!!!
Wait maybe it was EB2. I’m not sure tbh since it’s been a while. Definitely needed PERM. For reference McK starts the process at 1.5 years of tenure and now I’m 4 years in
Contgratulations 🎉🎉🎉
Congratulations

Congrats OP!! So happy for you.
OP what country are you from? Or better yet does your country have a backlog?
Were there any unusual delays you had(eg Covid etc)?
I’m from Vietnam too and my card is arriving today 🥳
Congratulations! Country of citizenship?
How did your PERM take only one year? I'm 9 months in and my firm has just submitted the PWD....

Overall process took 2.5 years, and i485 took 1 year and 5 months, so I did the math. No idea why tbh. I just gathered the docs as instructed by lawyers
