I’m a mechanical engineer working for an aerospace company but I want to make the transition into tech. During my last 2 semesters of college, I took some coding classes and realized this is what I really wanted to do. I graduated in December, 2021 and have been teaching myself programming ever since. I still have a log to learn but I want to eventually land a job at HubSpot or Spotify. In the meantime I’m looking for mentors. Is anybody willing to chat and offer some advice and connections?
Hi everyone! India is really struggling with covid currently. “In India’s devastating second wave of coronavirus infections, patients and their families are on their own, fighting to save their loved ones in an overwhelmed system where ambulances, hospital beds, oxygen, medicine and even cremation grounds are in short supply.” Please spread the word and donate if you can. https://givebutter.com/sewa
Anyone an EA at Citadel? Do you like it?

What ACD 2 said. Most people who leave R/GA go in-house at big tech companies. You work with big tech clients here and make innovative work. It can be a career stepping stone.
If you want to work for any FANNG company R/GA will look good. The best of the best go that route.
AKQA and R/GA are great for web designers I mean UX designers
Also the award winning team at Spotify was composed of ex R/GAers.
Hard no for AKQA.
R/GA: Soft no
The answer to that is fairly self evident. The better the work and the better the reputation, the more the street cred. I’m confident you can connect the dots from there...
R/ga over akqa
