For anyone who took the CISA exam (I passed lol), how many days did it take to get your “official score”? I know it says 10 days but wanted to ask if anyone got it sooner

Just wrapped my first year in analytics for due diligence. I’m a finance-savvy data guy, not an accountant. Mostly work with SAAS-model targets. Most clients are PE. Applied for Director role within A&M healthcare practice. Partner and I were aligned on me coming in at Director. Now, i am being offered Sr. Associate role. Dont know how to proceed. Part of me wants to no longer continue the conversation.

Hi Fishies, i have experience working on Oracle Peoplesoft as well as Oracle Cloud.
Now i have been interviewed and selected for Ameriprise where I would learn on the job and work on workday finance.
No WD certification.
Will it be a good choice in the long run?
Also, how hard is it to learn workday without proper formal training/certification ?

Unpopular opinion: the FIRE community is contributing to an unhealthy workaholic culture as we forestall healthy work-life balance in favor of reaching our “FIRE” numbers a few years earlier. As a result, work culture is becoming all the more intolerable as the bold few would-be advocates for work-life balance are sucked headfirst into the rat race, and no one is left to fix things from the inside.

Society overall would be better served by a more community-minded approach to work-life balance.
