It’s aggressive but I don’t believe it’s impossible. Just show your enthusiasm and state that you have options (assuming you have other offers).

I have a friend who just moved to FDD as a S1. 101K and 10K sign on in HCOL.

like

Echoing this. S1 friend got 102, and I'm expecting an offer as an S2 to be 110. All NYC numbers

Doesn’t hurt to ask.

Do you have your cpa OP?

In FDD, no sign on since I was an internal transfer, so I can’t speak to that, but getting a little over 105k in NYC. For an external hire I would think you’re pretty much on point (just not sure about sign on).

I got 110k as a senior 2 with 2 yoe. Jumped over at 1.5 years post- undergrad as senior 1 and then got promoted after .5. So I don’t think it’s out of question, just depends how much they want you

Friend moved from audit to FDD as a S1, 105k base plus 20k sign-on bonus. They said it’s hard to raise the base above 110k so sign-on bonus was used to bridge the gap.

Non-technical role, L5, NYC
8 YOE + Masters degree
Base: 180k
Bonus: 15%

I’d like to negotiate, but I’m not sure where I should ask for more (base, equity, or both?). Also, are signing bonuses common?

Any advice is appreciated. Thank you!

Role title: category manager

Does a category manager managing all categories exist? I feel like at that point the role deserves a different title... & compensation.

Hello, fellow newbie here 😀
Was wondering if yall know of any remote sales jobs with a good starting base salary? I'm doing great at my current role selling senior health insurance (76k give or take a year) but I know I'm capable of selling at a higher commission range. My calls at my last company were all cold (around 100 a day). I got job offers as a recruiter and also a few SDR offers but both fields the base is under 45k. I have a four year degree and one year of sales experience. Thank you

Recently a high powered individual scolded me for killing a tone deaf pride idea, because I said, “As an lgbtq person, I feel ____.” Allegedly that phrasing wouldn’t allow others to feel like they could state their opinions on the idea. I was extremely upset but didn’t want to burn a bridge so I listened to their feedback and tried to let it go. But I haven’t really let it go - it was demoralizing and insulting...and quite frankly I’m angry I let them get away with it. What would you do?

Initially it will be manual and then it will have automation testing. Is learning important and priority for 4.5 years of experience? Or better to go with the high package offer? (Other company offer is from TCS). Your valuable comments would help.
