26 African American Female, gmat 670, stem gpa 3.1, research experience at an Ivy League and published a paper, now working at a well known pharma company. Do I have a shot or should I retake the gmat and apply round 3?

I'm currently interviewing for senior software engineer and have a couple interviews with PMs (culture fit, etc).
I've had some rocky relationships with PMs.
As a PM, what would you like an engineer to ask you?
As an engineer, what would you ask a PM to understand how the work with engineers, what they prioritize, if they throw engineers under the bus, etc?
I've also had many experiences with great PMs.

I got laid off from my job as an account manager at a SAAS company. I’ve been applying non stop for similar jobs in saas for the past 2 months and I’m not having a lot of success with interviews. Either not getting them or not getting an offer because they go with a candidate with more experience (I have 1 year experience). Any advice for companies to apply to or with getting an offer despite not having as many years experience as others?

Has anyone read any interesting books on how to approach QA?

On my team, software engineers end up creating test cases by writing up step-by-step guides for each ticket. QA employees follow these and innovate them where they can - but they ultimately need SEs to provide them A LOT.

This process seems dumb - the test cases disappear after the ticket is completed and I feel like QA isn't much of a professional role if they just follow guides provided to them.

Is there a better way?

Is anyone getting cold feet for business school this fall? Was excited but am now increasingly nervous about the subpar experience and hiring difficulties that may result from a potential recession. Don’t know if I should stay at current role and reapply this fall or just attend T15 school and see what happens.

Folks who got interviews at M7 from consulting: what’s the total you paid for MBA admission advising, whether it be on essay or interview prep? Know 4 people that spent $1000s on essay coaching alone (all got invites). Feeling discouraged - undergrad student debt killed money trees.

What’s the point of HBS’s post interview reflection? From everything I’ve gathered it seems like it won’t save you and it won’t tank you (assuming you don’t write obscene/rude things). So, why bother?
