I don’t really know what you want us to say lol. Many people choose Roth because of tax free earnings you’re not the first. You just saw firsthand what can happen if you don’t plan properly using traditional.

You can be irresponsible with either account. It’s not a bad idea to have money in both traditional and Roth accounts, but I think your reasoning for doing so is a bit off.

General question: is there any certain “rule of thumb” post that you sell to take profiles? I’ve seen some experts (“”) say to always collect at 20% and others say until you see a reason to sell. Asking as rearranged last week and luckily got into the airlines before they exploded and now I’m sitting about 50% up on delta. And after selling Zoom way to early (used to buy my delta), I’m not sure whether to take the cash or let it ride more. This fast a rally makes me think it will plummet soon

My initial prequalification from the same bank (when I had indicated a down payment of 20%) was 2.62 and APR 2.673. I guess I’m a bit confused on the role of the APR, I usually hear ppl focusing on the interest rate. Thanks!
