🤣 Supreme Court blocks COVID-19 vaccine-or-testing mandate for workplaces but lets medical rule stand

I feel like I'm the only teacher in my school who is concerned about covid. Am I alone?

Black Tax is something else. My in-laws that are back in Africa have a tendency of exaggerating so that my husband and I send more money. They had my husband and I worried all weekend thinking my MIL was so sick. Turns out she wanted money for a party to throw a friend and realized this was the only way we would send more money immediately.

What do you think teaching will be like after COVID? Do you think we'll change anything permanently?

Curious what firms are doing to keep people socializing during COVID. I miss my coworkers but I'm sick of zoom calls.

I am so glad for this bowl. I think I have Covid and it sucks to use my sick days all up. If I said this in the main teachers bowls I would have a bunch of trumpers mocking me for being vaccinated and masking

How do you feel about splitting everything 50-50 with your partner? I don’t feel as rigid about it bc I feel it balances out one way or another, but my partner feels as if he owes me if we don’t split 50-50 and I pay more. I get where he’s coming from but 50-50 just feels transactional and not intimate. For context: I make 3x more than he does and he’s still finishing his medical fellowship, so I don’t feel it’s a matter of feeling less than.

Why do some doctors get so defensive when questioned by nurses? I ask him to clarify a medication and dose (since it's a slightly unusual choice), and he acts like I'm questioning his medical knowledge. smh

Any parents who are still on the safe side with Covid? We have a 1 year old and being safe and staying mostly home is really getting to me. Most of our friends have kids who are able to mask up or are vaccinated and it’s getting quite isolating. Hi Ladies! I’m a sales rep for a private duty non-medical Homecare agency and when making cold visits at hospitals or clinics to introduce myself I’m often not allowed in.
