Please confirm HSBC salary deduction it only shows basic salary+flexi + pf+ gratuity but no other things like professional tax etc are mentioned in offer letter...will it be revised while joining or just the same

Is it considered rude to ask about the salary range before taking calls with recruiters? I keep getting emails about c-level ea roles and they try to entice me by saving hybrid role with great benefits and compensation, but won’t post the salary range in their job descriptions. I guess my thinking is that I’d waste their time with calls if we aren’t aligned on compensation. Curious to hear everyone’s thoughts.

Spouse makes $130k base as a lead designer of a well known brand company. Another competitor reached out to the spouse for an open role equivalent to one level higher, and base starts at $250k. Spouse won’t even talk to the recruiter because the current brand has very good image while the competitor is more mainstream and flashier (think Supreme).
