Chemotherapy is always improving but there's a lack of funding for some areas. Why do you think this is?

I have always thought that chemotherapies should be easily accessible, it is one of the main causes of death not only in our country but in the world, I do not understand why it is something that is so expensive and has very little help.

Chemotherapy is one of the most difficult processes that a cancer patient faces, and having to deal not only with the expenses of the treatment but also with the expenses of what must be done after the treatment (proper nutrition), is something that hits any economy, help is necessary for this area.

Malginous neoplasty is a problem that represents the number two reason for natural deaths in the country, it is necessary to make progress to improve chemotherapy treatments and at the same time lower the costs of these treatments, I hope this can be resolved soon.

Most of the advances in the field of chemotherapy are made by the private sector, which is a shame because the research has a cost and since there is no public aid, all that cost is transferred to the treatment, making the treatment acquire a significant cost.

I think it's all because medicine is seen more as a business than as a natural necessity. For example, in countries like Canada, healthcare is almost free and this type of research is supported by the country's budget.

It is thought that more support is given to military research in the private sector than to research to improve chemotherapy. I believe that over time chemotherapy will be a completely affordable resource for everyone, but the less public investment it has, the more expensive it will be in the future.

Bit of a conspiracy theory, but I suppose there is more value in selling a long term treatment that may result in a recurrence than there is in investing in finding a one time cure

I’m depressed. Just extremely unmotivated and paralyzed. Self-help books are not for me, but I am curious - has anyone tried a guided depression/anxiety journal? Any recommendations if so?
