Looking at people’s photos of skiing with their kids, dressing up their kids, making me really want a kid. Why is it so difficult for me? 😢

Probably not the right bowl. I have $240k in my savings account, recently became a father of 3 and my wife left her job so now one income. I make $215k base. Monthly expenses prob around $6.5k including my mortgage. Home equity somewhere around $200k. I've never been good at investing (always losing money in the market). Want to move to a bigger home but don't want to lose my cash cushion. How can I conservatively grow my net worth? Vague question but any help appreciated. BTW I'm 33.

My husband and I are pretty good co-parents, which is great, but he isn't very responsive to my attempts to make time for romance, & the relationship has died down after 19 years. (Sex is good but the emotional connection isn't.) Last kid at home graduates in 5 years, and we may become one of those couples that divorces after the kids leave the nest.

SO beyond frustrated with my work environment I think it may be time to leave for good. I recently had my first baby and I’m trying to be as practical as possible, I did not get a bunch of baby stuff I just got the essentials, I think they sell you too much unnecessary things. I do appreciate people showing affection with gifts but feel kids now a day are over gifted. Would it be taken wrong if I suggest that for birthdays and Christmas instead of toys people deposit whatever they were going to spend in my baby’s 529 account?
