I’m a felony prosecutor and have never worked in the private sector (both before and since becoming an attorney). I’m considering switching to a private firm, but don’t know where to start. My private law friends have recruiters reaching out to them based on where they work. How do I get recruiters to notice me? Should I be hiring a recruiter? (Is that even a thing?)

My coworker always looks me intensely in the eyes when he speaks. I guess he does it to everyone but I'm the only one that seems to react to it. I always come off so submissive and sheepish when he does it. I feel like he notices and does it more now.

It’s so weird how personality fit or mental attraction can happen. Just met someone who I would have swiped left on because he doesn’t match majority of my filtering criteria but I had such a great time getting to know him. Could not express this to him as we are a very unconventional match. Sigh.
