I feel like I’m not getting enough work and not enough deals as compared to one off assignments. I’ve been making it known that I have capacity and people say they have deals coming up but then don’t follow up. I’m getting frustrated. I feel like I’ve expended my options for people to reach out or talk to. I’m not at ZERO hours but it’s not the kind of work that will give me enough hours and I don’t think other associates are having the same issue.

How do you stay grounded in Islamic values when you have to work 12 hours a day 5 days a week? For context, resisting the drinking is not the challenge I'm talking about. It's just that joining straight out of uni, the endless deliverables don't seem to leave any peace of mind for reflection or mindful prayer.
