I have an offer from PwC AC (Bangalore) as a SA, so wanted to check regarding a few things.

How is the wlb, culture etc here? I have read negative things especially about pwc kolkata. I will be joining from KPMG India.

Also how is the increment this year? Has everyone received 5%? Was it better last year?

Does anyone know if Focal Point Data Risk is a good place to work at? Their recruiter reached out for a Principal Consultant role and I am wondering if they are a reputed name in the industry.

Just got my offer from Shell. However the LOE does not detail certain compensation components which are mentioned in the initial offer (market competitive allowance and performance bonus).
Should I ask for a revised LOE with this listed or does the original offer hold good even when I sign this contract?

I've go an offer for a position as an SRE at Google Dublin. Even though I'll be losing some base salary, and a level from where I am at Microsoft, I'm considering moving. However, I was hoping somebody working at Google in Dublin could share which benefits you have to compare with (currently at Microsoft we have health insurance, life insurance, pension plan, subsidized meals).
Also, does anybody know if Google Dublin pays for the on call?

Someone I work with was not promoted, and works like a maniac. Instead others were bought in to groom into future leaders. I guess why would the boss do that. The person was really hard working and did all the admin for the account. He got angry and left the team. I question if I should remain on such a team. I did get promoted, but it seems fishy.
