When people say industry feedback is great for CV, what are you sourcing? Just ad hoc comments from clients? Wondering if there is some memo I didn’t get...

smartlike

Agreed - unless you really mess something up most clients are going to be complimentary of the firms they work with - it’s part of trusting their work. Employee reviews of the firms would be more helpful when considering whether to work there or not

my friend is getting destroyed there rn but tbh the work sounds way more interesting than what i do - stuck on some PM bs on a pharma ops project cleaning up EY's work

Apply to ZS 😀 On a more serious note, I would choose Clearview based on client feedback, I am yet to see a client in Pharma who liked IQVIA (mostly due to their extortionate data fees, but nonetheless)

likefunnysmart

Yeah IQVIA is not great that’s kind of their thing

helpfulfunny

Agreed. Raving reviews for ClearView in industry, but not IQVIA from what I know.

Sad to hear

IQVIA 100%. Clearview WLB is the worst. I know many people that quit or boomeranged. Exit opportunities the same in industry for both, but more internal exit opps at IQVIA. Project opportunities at IQVIA span a much wider range than Clearview.

Sure but everyone that tries to say CV is amazing or does not like IQVIA is also biased. Everyone here is biased, right? That’s why people crowd source opinions 😉

like

Both have bad culture and WLB lol. Go to whichever pays more

likefunny

Honestly chose the people you liked most during the interview process. You are probably aware of reviews of both companies and should make the decision on who you like working with. Exit opps are going to be very similar, and to base your decision on opinions of people that don’t work for CV or IQVIA (see above) may not be the best. That’s hear say. If clients wouldn’t like IQVIA they wouldn’t return. Use your critical thinking skills and trust your decision.

How do you know? Have you worked for both?

like

Search these bowls, there have been a ton of conversations about this, but can confirm from classmates from grad school (PhD) that both places have terrible WLB and do very similar work. Honestly go with pay if you're set on joining one of them.

Interest: biopharma BD&L and R&D

Agree with D2. Clearview has done very well in this space and it’s their bread and butter. For early commercial work, they are the preferred partner across 4 large Pharma organizations I have worked in or with (as part of an Alliance)

likehelpful

Come to ZS. We are hiring in R&D very much! 😀and BD&L.

funny

😄 ok will check with them!

Client side for a while here. I have better experiences with CVHP than IQVIA from a project standpoint But agree that exit opps seem to be not that different .. have seen / work with multiple exits from both companies

uplifting

Thx

depends on your interests/foci and desires for client mix / workflow
