I got my I-140 approval but EY Law said they can’t start I-485 until I get promoted. I’m trying to see whether I should apply H4 visa for my spouse so she can have an H4 EAD or wait until October to do this given I don’t get promoted and I-485 will be stalled for another year.

Hi All, a new analyst in Deloitte Advisory. Deloitte told me they will apply for H1B next year. But for Green Card sponsorship, my seniors told that I would be eligible in 2 years but i140 is only submitted if I become a Senior Consultant. My seniors told that I it would take upto 5 years of consistent performance to become a senior consultant, so my question is that if I get my H1B visa selected next year and it takes me 5 years to become senior consultant would that be OK for GC?

Hello Guys, I have around 7.9 years of experience and all in Infosys so far. Now got opportunity from Accenture Lead developer with 18.6 fixed + 27% variable (total 22.93) and a joining bonus of 3.6 Lakh extra. Infosys has already raised Canada visa. What should i choose and why? I'm married recently and spouse is also working in small company.

It's not dry and dead out there. Started looking only 6 weeks back. Attended 3 interviews. Accepted one offer. Transfer approved in 3 business days. Joining Chase next week. Keep looking guys. I just went to each of the 'careers' pages.. Updated resume to match the requirements on each posting. Called out on resume that I need immigration sponsorship. Had a cover letter for each posting. Before that I spent money on getting a professional resume from Monster. Highly recommended. Good luck all.

If just money is the critriea, what wiĺl you take.. 1.3cr in India or 325k in US.. We are currently in India and between me and my wife we make 1.3cr annually and live in hyderabad with own home. I do have a L1 visa and wife wants to shift to US and i expect we can get to about 325k through transfers in our respective companies. Husband is in India and got H1b stamped . While H4 was processing for the wife , he had to leave because of his fathers death. Wife and kids stayed back in US. Now wife and kids received H4 rejection .Please guide on next steps . Few questions . 1. How soon should the wife leave US. 2. If she goes to India can she go for stamping based on Husbands approved visa (which is also stamped) or does she have to wait for new H4 to be approved.

I was on a H1B ~3 years back and now i’m trying to move back to US on a L1A visa. I had maxed out the H1B quota of 6 years. I read somewhere the L1 limit is subtracted from a previous H1, but I also remember reading all clocks get reset after 1 full year outside. Can anyone please clarify. Thanks!
