Hi folks, I have recently joined Publicis Sapient taking an offer of 14.4 LPA. I have total 4.5 years of experience and my previous CTC was around 3.4 LPA. I had various offers in hand but not one to counter this one and PS is providing me 4x+, so I couldn't negotiate much.
Another thing is I was an immediate joiner as I had left my previous organisation 3 months ago so I couldn't wait to think about this offer.
But now I think it's low, what do you think please let me know and suggest.
So glad I found this bowl
Have a great rest of your day!

Anyone else feel a little uneasy that the industry press is praising a CMO who fired the agency who resurrected KFC, ran one of the most brutal pitch processes in years and has immediately made the work much worse?

You’re still working because you have to be present and wait for the work to come through.

If your role requires you to be ready and available for “on demand” work from 10am, then that’s when the clock starts.

As long as YOU get paid, it’s on your agency’s business people to figure out how to get paid by client.
There is more than one way for them to do this, eg: either via directly billing them for your “available” time OR indirectly covering that “avail time/capacity” via increased overhead factor or multiple built into billable rates.

Bill from the moment you start thinking until the moment it goes away.
Several thoughts. 1)is the client mandating you come in at 10am? If so, you should put in the contract extra $$$ for work performed outside normal business hours. 2) is your employer mandating you come in at 10am? If so, you should bill the hours you are in the office to something, since as others noted if you are required to butt in seat, then that is a job responsibility you are performing, and therefore it counts as work even if you are doing nothing. 3) none of the above apply? Then either a) quit and find a job with hours that are better for you, or b)don't show up to work until 4pm.
