Sounds like yo could care less about professional and you are just a snob. Why don't you worry more about what she says at dinner than what she's wearing on her feet, which are under the table. The fact that you judge her based on her shoes which she only changed after an entire day of work in "professional shoes" is just ridiculous and you are bound to miss out on some quality people in your team and pick some bad ones because you can't see where true quality comes from
@OP, aside from all the judgment and hate, could you for the sake of curiosity just casually ask your fellow coworker "hey what's up with the tennis shoes?" If the answer is "I have a back problem" then you're set. If the answer is "I just don't care anymore" that'd be fascinating too. I like how after a billion fucking posts by everyone nobody bothered to truly prod OP to find out why. This is everything wrong with MC, nobody just wants to ask the person with answers (the ACN coworker)

Also female here, wearing heels all day - everyday at work. My expectation would be similar to OP's. She could have changed into flats, maybe - tennis shoes is a bit too far. It's a client dinner and your shoes are a part of your professional image.
