How does the client know if you skip a work out? Advice would be to bring it to your project lead, they may be able to help sort this issue out.

Def a discussion with your SM or Partner to nip this in the bud.

SC1 lol valid question, usually when she brags about her AM run and asks if I made it to the gym, too. I try not to share things unless I’m asked bc she is just impossible 🙄 partner and MD are well aware of it and laugh when i tell them the comments

like

Yeah since it is a client go through reporting line - due the immaturity of the comments I don’t think it is worthwhile to talk to she urself

HahAha that’s a tough spot....any way to have a discussion with the partner and move to another engagement ?

Just roll your eyes in your mind and move on. Try not to let it bother you. I’d probably respond with similarly passive aggressive comments back, but that’s because I’m a Southern lady and that’s how we roll. Didn’t straighten my hair? I know it’s really gone out of fashion. Did I make it to the gym last night? No, I really prefer to read and meditate in the evenings. Blah blah blah....

I've just gone solo in the past year, after 10 years at another firm. My old firm was taken over by a bigger firm and I left due to conflict with new management. Now I'm dealing with the old firm to get client files released to me (at client's request) and the firm is making things difficult for me. Dealing with the old firm literally makes me feel sick to the stomach, I feel so intimidated by the new management. Any thoughts or tips, words of advice?

Pretty torn between CSR and Amex Gold cards. Ignoring annual fees, I’m torn between points earning potential. With most of my budget going towards discretionary spending (dining, groceries, drinks) the Gold has an appeal, yet CSR’s broader definition for travel might even out the point earning potential (ie covering full cost of one Airbnd for several friends would be a big point generator). Are there any other major factors I might not be considering? I’ve gone thru the TPG review FWIW.
