Client keeps inviting me to meetings but not the EM or anyone else on the team (who needs the information in the meeting). Should I keep forwarding invites to him/her or just let them address it?

Forward. But if u think it’s intentional (due to conflict of ideas/egos) probably give the client a heads up that this meeting would be more helpful to xyz is it ok to fwd. find out if they don’t want to talk to the EM/others lol in which case it’s probably something the EN needs to know about.

Might depend on the situation. Could be as simple as they are just sending it to you and assuming you’ll invite the right people from your side (especially if your team is rather large, they might not know every person who should/shouldn’t be there). If it’s more like they’re trying to specifically exclude the EM, then that’s something to run up the pole and let the EM (or partner) address directly with the client to sort out the situation (or adjust staffing, etc). Best to avoid getting in the middle of conflicts between your boss and client if you can.

Hey all! Any guidance on leaving my firm after being placed on an upcoming project? I got an industry offer that I’d love to take, but I just got word that a new client would like me for a project after several weeks of interviewing with them. The project is scheduled to start in about 4-6 weeks, so I havent started anything, but I can imagine the conversations would be tricky, given the amount of effort invested already from both sides. Anyone gone through a similar thing?

Deloitte question. I have always gotten a raise each year, the only question I ask is how much of a raise do I get. But I’m hearing from former Deloitte folks, it is naive to expect annual raises each year however small/big they are? And how does this play in Deloitte consulting vs advisory? Do one tend to withhold annual raises in base salary over the other, or is this just a deloitte culture thing? Looking at exit opportunities all over. So lmk! I’d Rather get a small raise than none at all.
