Promo candidate for manager this year, engagement partner asked if I want to move to NYC(client office).... I’m SA with 6 years exp, 95k in Midwest, MC in tech enablement .. what can I expect for M1?

My manager is incapable of admitting when he’s wrong, to the point where he’s let me use the wrong formulas on client work because he couldn’t bring himself to admit he’d given me the wrong formula.

Is there a consultancy out there that is focused more on delivering products, solutions and agile outcomes rather than getting hung up on reams of PowerPoint slides and decks after decks that just say the things client might want to hear with tons of micro level management of the language? Please let me know because I am at the end of my tether. Do I need to move to industry? I love the variety of consulting but tired of playing language and graphics games...

Typical days on a difficult project with a difficult partner

Guys am really concerned about the EPB deduction.. I still have 75 days.. in NP But the responses am reading in various groups about EPB deduction is hilarious.. Thinking to get it confirmed from HR...!! If he says it will get deducted, I'll ask to shift me on bench as I don't see any point in working for a minute more for current project.. Random urgent email from a Partner I’ve never met in a practice not related to ours needing someone this weekend to agree to go on site at a client on the opposite coast for the foreseeable future to lead a project.
