Why do i feel guilty for taking a day off from study 🤦🏻‍♀️

My Assistant has been extremely unprofessional lately. When I've been giving her work she either vaguely tells me "I don't have time" or gives pushback about it not being a task for her. When she makes mistakes I point them out to her and if they're significant, explain the impact the mistake could have on the case. Tuesday’s are so hard for me. I’ve gone to a therapist 3 times now, and I am unsure if this is the right therapist for me. I’m not sure how therapy is supposed to work as this is my first time, but it feels like she never really has much of an agenda to work through with me and I kind of run the appointment. I don’t mind doing a lot of talking but it almost feels like I’m just paying a lot of money to vent to someone, as she really just listens rather than giving me helpful advice or doing exercises with me. Is this normal?

I don’t remember what it’s like to feel normal anymore it’s making it hard to stay motivated to get better instead of just slipping back into a depressive state

Grew up blue collar and parents had financial struggles especially since the recession. I have always associated financial wealth/stability with happiness and freedom. At the same time, I love my family and my spouse is amazing. Will I ever stop associating and chasing the unattainable that more money means more happiness? It probably doesn’t help that some friends from home have had successful careers in finance or married rich.

Hi all, I have a more general post and would like to hear about your experiences - How do you know if the dosage of your anti-depressants or anxiety medication is too strong for you? How do you know when those medications don't work for you at all and when any new ones do?

Low dose of fluoxetine and EMDR seem to help but it’s taking a while and propranolol is OK for the symptoms, but I just wish I could get rid of this more effectively…
