JOB: SEO Specialist
OFFER: 65k with good benefits
EXPERIENCE: 1 year SEO, 3 years data analyst
COUNTER-OFFER: 87k same benefits
REASON 1: programming skills which I use on the job (SQL, R, Google Apps Script). Aka I do more than SEO.
REASON 2: I’ve received multiple other offers for data analyst jobs paying 85k-100k

I accepted an offer from EY but it's contingent on me succesfully completing a background check. I havent given my notice yet because I want to be 100% sure that my offer is finalized. The background check includes employment verification where they will contact the HR dept of companies that I've previously/currently worked at to confirm my employment with them.
