Need help evaluating an offer. Currently at BCG a few months away from promotion to Consultant (post-MBA role, but I don’t have an MBA). Comp at BCG would be $200-$225k ish. Have a tech offer that’s remote in strategy. Really love the company and the team, but all in comp including equity is $170k, so would be a pretty big hit. Would love everyone’s thoughts on this kind of offer in general for someone in my position and how to think through remote as a benefit.

I worked 2 years for CTS and got recognized from global VPs for the projects I completed and business I gave. But they never even talked about promotion or calling me on-site after assuring it. Even the mail of recognition from my manager came a month later. This is how laid back CTS can be in India and now after keeping my papers they just came up after days saying we want to retain you as you are valuable asset and will send to on-site but it will take 2 months. Q1. What are the possibilities of getting into Cognizant for the same project as when I left few months back (5 months)? My Cognizant Manager, SA and 9 out of 38 team members (4 out of 13 at my level) have all left after me. Now I wish to go back to Cognizant for same Project.
Q2. I heard that Cognizant would not provide any hike (from our current CTC) if we re-join them within 1 year. Is that true? Any proven cases of Q2?

I was interviewed at CTS, all rounds cleared. they asked to submit documents and my current offer so they can get approval for the salary i was asking for, now no clue what they are doing and when I called they said we cannot offer this much at your level.
