Unlimited PTO. As an associate you probably will. be ok. It's quite rare to see people taking 2 weeks off at a time but 1-7 days is easier. 401k has matching after 6 months of work. Insurance is relatively cheap for 1 person. Family is expensive. Did you ask your recruiter?

Won’t get employee match on 401k until next year I believe. Should I continue to contribute 15% or lower it and wait to contribute more when I get matched? Or does it matter? Hope to get some advice!

Hi I am having some trouble on choosing between Deloitte and PwC for a 2022 winter internship. Some pros for Deloitte include being the largest firm, and the promotion to senior being 2 years opposed to 3 at PwC. Additionally, Deloitte offers a pension and has Deloitte university. The pros of PwC include a gym in the office and a younger work force. They also give me much less of a “corporate” feel and seem to offer more flexibility. I’m wondering if anyone could give me any advice on deciding?

My wife makes 112k and I make 70k in NYC. She plans to go to law school in 18 months. She is very smart and so I believe she will get a scholarship. But assuming worst case scenario, we will take on debt to pay tuition (180k). My question is should we still fund our Roth 401k this year as we have in the past or stop funding it to save for Law school to decrease student loans? I believe post law school she will make 200k (big law) and I should be at around 100k.
