Coming from ACN, senior analyst, 3yrs total experience so far & wanting to get into the data analytics/BI work. Currently have had experience working with SQL developer, OBIEE/OBIA, Teradata in ERP and Healthcare projects. I also have my AWS Cloud Practitioner Cert, hoping to eventually get the Data Analytics Cert later. What are my chances of finding a role with another company that'll let me work in BI/data analytics and build up my skill at the same time? Been thinking of leaving ACN.
What is a good salary for a Data Analyst Coordinator for a non profit health center? I want to approach the HR person with a good range. If I've maxed out my TFSA, should I continue investing through an RRSP or a personal investment account?
For context, I also have a good pension. My main concern is that while the RRSP will be nice to lower my taxable income now, I'm worried when I retire I'll have to withdraw too much from both the RRSP and pension. Thoughts?
I have a coworker who is about to go on maternity leave. Our company is only offering her 4 weeks paid maternity leave. This is in Virginia. Curious what maternity leave/benefits other moms have received.

Let's support local businesses this holiday season! I'm starting a thread where we can share our favorite small/local businesses we want others to know about!
Happy Holidays Everyone!
Found myself in a conversation with the branch manager (white male pushing thru his late 60's) about holiday decorations. I just told him how I've been directed by corporate to keep the winter holiday decorations as non denominational and he nearly exploded. Starts saying how Christmas is the "American Way" and "nobody is going to take MY Christmas" and "this is MY BRANCH, I will decorate for CHRISTMAS" and so much more. I'm just flabbergasted, frustrated but not surprised.
Used to think Canada is a better place to live in comparison to US bcz of free healthcare, in fact for a while I was looking for ways to move to Canada. Recently had to do a detailed research of Canada and I realized how misinformed I was 🤦🏻♀️ everything is too expensive:
Car insurance: over 450 a month, cell line with very limited internet access over 80 a month, banks have fees to keep your money, cash your checks, or if you have over a certain number of transactions, wthhhh

Newbie question here. From what I’ve read and learned people typically take two FIRE approaches: 1. REI and 2. Index funds. First, am I missing anything else? Second, if you did the index fund version, and you retire at say 30-35, how do you use that money? Isn’t it locked in until 59 1/2?

My last employer was godrej & Boyce , designation Asst manager and by background is civil engineering. Please suggest is there any relevant openings available.

faced anyone ?
So, this is a little awkward, but I recently moved to SD for a fresh start, and honestly, I love this city. My problem is I have been more of a homebody since I moved here and I'm a little intimidated to go out and meet people because I don't feel like I fit in here. I am overweight and this city is full of active, and attractive people. I guess I am wondering what my experience would be if I got out more? I feel like people look at me when I'm in public because I stand out due to my size.
Anyone have faced the interview processes in Micro Focus for a senior level position in Java stack ?Micro Focus International Plc.
I accepted a job offer at a start up in December; they told me that they would apply for GC on a case-by-case basis and usually after the employee has been there for at least 6 months. The company just filed my I-129 with USCIS on a premium processing yesterday. When I accepted the job offer, my current company paused their GC processing. I realized today that my current company has resumed GC application. Should I consider staying with the firm? My reason for leaving is job opportunity & growth

Unlimited PTO. As an associate you probably will. be ok. It's quite rare to see people taking 2 weeks off at a time but 1-7 days is easier. 401k has matching after 6 months of work. Insurance is relatively cheap for 1 person. Family is expensive.
Did you ask your recruiter?
I take about 1.5 weeks off a quarter
