I am an Admin Assistant. I do admin, project coordination and lead a few projects. I am often in meetings with a lot of execs & from my experience (even in my team), I find that people seem to think lowly or are dismissive of admins work. I am currently looking at entry roles in consulting but am worried hirers will see my title & dismiss my application too. My friend suggested changing my title to Project Assistant or Coordinator on my resume to reflect what I do now but this feels like lying?
