EY High Deductible Health Plan vs Open Access Select (don’t have EY bowl access yet) I just started at the firm and am trying to pick my healthcare. I don’t really ever go to the Dr so I’m thinking of getting the High Deductible plan. My question is, what does it mean that it’s not a “national network (Is this a national network?: No)” but it’s “network coverage: see any licensed doctor”? Those seem to contradict. Also HSA vs FSA, as a healthy 26yo, which is right for me (High D only has HSA)
Anybody know the TC for a Gastroenterologist in Atl area. Asking for a friend who is planning to move here
Constantly hearing keeping money just siting in the bank isn’t a good idea and I should have my money “working for me”. So for someone who knows nothing about investing (other than having a 401k and opened a Roth recently), where to begin with investing/where else should I put my money? Stocks require caution due to independence requirements at my current firm.
Birthday ideas: My SO and I are planning on a Zoom virtual birthday party for our 1 year old next month. We are thinking of sending out an Evite this week but have 0 ideas for the party. Any suggestions? Thank you!
How big is the jump from xDR to AE? Currently crushing quota finishing my 1st year as BDR in enterprise software (12mo+ cycles with avg deal $500k) Want to make the business case for promotion before end of 2nd year. I was a management consultant before and feel confident interacting with senior level DM’s but would be fresh to outside sales, negotiation, closing prospects, etc. How can I prepare for the jump and set myself up for success as an AE?
Low and even negative yields have turned some fixed income investing into “fixed expense” investing
Ex big4 told me that the best talent leave, bottom gets fired and the middle performers make partner or stay. He's now CFO at a start up. Not amazing but definitely better off than me
Struggling with an offer I got for an industry position. The base undervalues me, raises are low, but total comp is higher than I would get this year with my raise if I stayed (although it couldn’t compete with my expected comp next year). I’ll have better WLB, which I really need for various reasons, but so scared to give up everything I know and that the hiring company was putting on a show during the interview process.
Been so wrapped up in work and job searching and studying cases for months I feel like I lost interest in everything else. Anyone else feel this way? The endless work from home and grinding has just made me obsessive about work and I dont feel like myself much lately
have a dilemma. I’m an A2 and have decided recently that accounting is not for me. I don’t enjoy the job and I have yet to pass a cpa exam, so don’t want to waste more time and $ taking them. I’ve tried to look for jobs but haven’t found anything yet so looks like I’m trapped for another busy season. since goal setting talks are coming up, should I be honest with my pml that I don’t plan on continuing to take exams/want to leave? or will that hurt me more somehow? I don’t know how to lie anymore
Can I shamelessly brag for a second, please? Started jogging a year ago and as of this morning I have lost 25 pounds. Next week is my last week as a consultant, and after 8 years of expense account diet, I’m officially leaving this job lighter than when I joined. I’m super proud of this. Thank you for coming to my TED talk.
PwC India is planning on calling the employees back to office after Diwali. What's the situation with your companies? Back to office or extended WFH?
Hello everyone, I am currently applying for entry level marketing positions in Europe and UK. Can anyone please provide me a referral at Unilever?
I’m looking into switching to admin, I’ve been in the classroom 10 years. I know I won’t want to be in the classroom in 20 but don’t see myself doing something other education right now. Do you have any advice on what skills I need to build for being a good support to teachers?
I have a negative Nancy aide in our classroom. Regardless of how many times she has been spoken to and reminded to keep the negative at bay, it seems to appear daily. Suggestions to help it totally disappear?
Currently an OCM Associate with 2.5 YOE in consulting & 1 YOE experience in sales and going up for promotion to SA in May/June. Received a Senior Consultant offer from Cognizant that puts TC about 35-40% higher than current TC. Has anyone worked in the OCM practice at Cognizant / have any thoughts about growth, current TC vs offer, etc?
