As far as my responsibilities). I feel like things are out of control and anxiety about decisions I made years ago is coming up again. I have also stopped drinking in the new year, so that may play a role. Anyone feeling this? What to do?

Same right now. Was staying positive earlier in the week but now feel like I can’t breathe. Thinking of random hurtful things that aren’t a big deal / others wouldn’t find hurtful that have been said to me from years ago, feel like I hate what my life has become and confused on how it turned into this.

Switching to pediatrics

Hi everyone I’m looking for advice and tips really.I’ve been a nurse for a year and have been a nurse in an adult imcu in a small community hospital for the past 9 months . I’ve finally landed a job in a pediatric imcu but it’s in a major medical center that receives trauma and all kinds of things I’ve never seen before. I’m just a little nervous because the acuity and the difference in children and adults. I will get 8 weeks of training and up to 12 if I’m not ready.

I’m going back to school full time and I will continue to work full time. I’m going to school for Nursing and I’m in Digital Marketing now. So it’s a huge switch!! Do you think I should keep it to myself or do you think I can tell my employer about my career change without them getting all weird about it? I also don’t want them to be worried that “I’ll be too busy to do my job effectively”. What would you do?

Does anyone here struggle with basic things at work? For example, being on time. I know it sounds basic, It’s not about waking up in time, my morning gets filled with something else, I misjudge time, I find something else to procrastinate. Second, filling out admin forms, I miss things, misunderstand. I am feeling really down on myself. I am I high performer and always deliver on complex projects, but these things, it’s like I’m totally out of it. Could it be ADHD? Depression (I’m medicated)?
