I have joined PwC AC in Advisory practice in Dec (Around 45days back) . I've not got the project yet and still on bench. I connected with deployer and Coach 2-3 times, they said they are in process of allocating. What should I do now? Is it something to worry about? How my performance will be evaluated and appraisal will be affected? Will I miss bonus (Variable pay which was verbally promised by HR)? Any suggestions will be helpful. Thanks in advance
Sorry for this post. I generally half heartedly listen to "I had a dream last night" stories. First off they are yours not mine and secondly the actions never actually happened. With that let me tell you about my awesome dream last night 🤪🤪🤪 I dreamed that Corna was gone and I was able to go make a in-person sales call. It was magical.
I used to use my home office as my photo and video editing studio where I enjoyed photography as my hobby. Since WFH, I don’t ever want to use it because it makes me feel like I’m at work. I feel like I need a second office 😓 anyone else fee that way?
How is the work culture at Infy. Is there any logging of work hours. Mandatory check in check out? How many leaves. Is it better than Accenture or worse than it, in case someone has worked at both.
If I start a new job this month and contributed 17k to my Big4 401k this year, do I just tell the new 401k how much % to take from each pay check to hit 2500 from now till Jan? How will they be able to know if I accidentally go over?
One of my coworkers started complaining that I didn't wear a mask on a Zoom call, because I might "infect the people coming into my house". That so-called person is my house cleaner, and we're both triple vaccinated and are fine not wearing masks. Should I tell my coworker to mind their own business?
Has wfh made you change life priorities, how ?
Is it hard to move between industry practices at OW? Could one jump from healthcare to financial services for instance?
How easy can I make the move from Senior/VP level healthcare strategy role into a big consulting shop?
Hi All, I left consulting 1.5 year ago to work at a FinTech here in Chicago. We’re filling out our Strategy & Analytics team and are looking for junior talent (2-4 YOE). This is my 4th time doing this with decent success (4 MBB, 3 B4, 4 T2 hires since I joined). Required skills are SQL and Excel, and nice to have are Python/R. https://www.linkedin.com/jobs/view/2816951518 TC ~$140K (15% of which is EOY bonus) depending on skillset / experience. WFH 3-4 days/week and hours are ~45/week (no weekend no nights). DM me if interested!
Currently Senior Consultant in Human Capital (Federal). Salary about $115K. Roughly what kind of a salary bump should I expect upon promotion to Manager? How much lower would Specialist Master be?
Rolled off a horrible project due to budget constraints, one week on the bench, and just sold a dream role for myself starting Monday. It's been a good week 😀
Hello fishes, have an interview coming up at Amazon for a Senior Procurement Manager role. Anyone have any insight into the potential comp range and culture?
