That’s BS mate. You can end up in a thousand places that will pay you as well or close. Plus those mega funds are more and more standardized in comps plus less access to equity. You should re-think what you really want to do tbh

That gap is too large. Go 150k. Prestige doesn’t pay your bills.

The 110 is with 70% bonus and the 150 is with 100% bonus

Honestly, I’d go do M&A finance at a tech company.

There are M&A finance roles specifically but could also look for corporate development analyst roles.

Associate 100%.

Come do tech M&A at SVB

I’m 2.5 years out of undergrad- young but have a strong resume/experience. I was offered a job at Salesforce that is more administrative than I’d like - do pay/culture/reputation outweigh role?

Anyone know the secret in getting an interview at McKinsey? I know potential hires typically get noticed at Deloitte through referrals and direct emails to the recruiter, but what about McKinsey?
