Company A: This job I went through 4 interviews and haven’t heard back if I got the job. The last email a week ago said you’re still in the running. Salary is a trainer position paid by training hour. Average trainer makes 100k-125k on average.
Company B: have a 2nd interview on Monday. potential salary is 25k less. But there’s room to grow and it’s a stable job.
Should I ask company B for a high salary and let them know I have another potential offer?

Company A probably finishing interviews with other candidates first.

You shouldn’t negotiate anything or name any numbers until you are being made an offer. Have them offer the number first.

like

Oh also, would you let company A know you have another offer?

Former recruiter here - yes, you always have other interview - create the supply and demand effect.

It can speed up the process at times & other times can make them come with a better offer.

I’ve been with my company for a year and a half. Started as a social media coordinator and after 6 months promoted to digital marketing advisor. I am currently at 66k but have reached my salary band cap with no guarantee of an increase moving forward. Advice for negotiation?

Context- I was recently promoted to a new position, new department. Since then I've been doing my new job about halfway and my old job the rest of the time while interviewing for my replacement as part of the transition.
Now my old boss has quit and I'm being called in as an interim fill in for her role. Mind you this role I'm filling in for pays far more than my previous or even current position.

Does anyone know comp for an L4 Global Account Rep role (base, equity, bonus). I’m asked to give my expected earnings prior to going into my final round. Any advice would help!

It seems like Fortune 500 companies rely on being a Fortune 500 company when recruiting. Just interviewed with one and while the base pay is fine (about average for the location) it is:

- contract to hire
- no relocation package
- no PTO until hired
- wants you to move within 3-4 weeks and start
- have to be onsite 3-4 days a week
- no sign on bonus
- no guarantee of hire after the 6 months

After all costs taken into account it would be around $20k more before taxes.. Seems so stingy?
