Has anyone interviewed at VCs like Third Rock, RA Capital or generalists like General Catalyst? What is the process like?

Do you feel like the buy now/pay later trend is going to contribute to incredible personal debt for more shoppers, or did the people who use it put everything on credit cards anyway? I am not in a tight position but I find myself tempted to do it if I'm buying something (like an exorbitant smart armchair) that I really have no real reason to get and would never have deferred any payments on before.
