Is an MBA worth it? Why do 🐠 want to go?

Shot at MBB? Opportunity cost? Career change? Is it worth the massive cost? To me it’s only worth it at M7.

Manager salaries - what are the set ranges at the strategy firms, eg mbb, ow, S&, ATK, LEK. And how much at strategy big 4 practices ? Very hard to find info on that. Also bonus points if you can...

First year post MBA position at a T2 (Strategy&, LEK etc.,) got an offer with MBB to start at same level but essentially losing out on the past year of tenure. I don’t have intentions to make Partner but enjoy the work and may continue for at least a few more years. Is the switch worth it? Also I came from industry and my current network is mostly industry folks so curious how much of a culture adjustment it may be.

Would it look bad to have all of MBB on your resume (e.g., Bain summer intern, McK BA, BCG Consultant)

Reasons for switch are mostly geographical, switching firms was easier than transferring internally, esp cross intl borders
