We don’t have directors... probably close to Associate Partner?
We do have directors. You go through LAP and either become a partner (presuming part of your job is sales, and you'll continue to have this career trajectory) or you become a director (presuming your work is internal).
My guess is equivalent to Band D, one step up from AP, they usually have the trust from the BU GM
We don’t exactly have directors in the consulting business. We do have MDs, but (a) confusingly for people coming from, say, Accenture, our MDs are more senior than newly-minted partners, and (b) I believe at MD level you actually sit across the entire business, not just consulting services.
In our business you have senior manager, associate partner, partner, VP/Senior Partner (they are the same thing but nomenclature varies from place to place). I have heard that directors at big 4 are kind of the same as our associate partners or Accenture’s MDs.
There’s probably some quirks from country to country as well which might muddle things.
