I’m 23 and my assets include $49K cash, $15K in ROTH IRA (will max for CY) and $5K in 401K (20% contrib). Liab is $9K for car loan. No HSA option since I’ll be staying on parents insurance until 26 yrs old. What should I do with my cash on hand and any “extra” cash from my paychecks? Goal to buy either personal or investment property in 3-5 yrs to support my family. How do people reach hundreds of thousand by early 30s? The concept seems like a stretch to me.

I have a NRI home loan through ICICI bank and I realized today (mar 6th) that my emi money was in a different account and the auto pay account didn’t have sufficed balance(auto pay is for mar 5) I immediately transferred money to the emi auto pay account and haven’t heard from the bank about any late payment etc but was wondering if there is usually a grace period or something before it’s considered a ‘missed EMI’? Any advice would be appreciated, a little nervous about this :/

Tips to stay motivated and cut procrastination? I started a new client side job remotely a few months ago at the beginning of covid. A single mom that works in the medical field has an infant and she feared she will transmit COVID-19 to the infant by continuing to go to work. She was also worried leaving her infant to a babysitter will expose the infant to the virus. So she had to temporarily quit work to take care of the infant. Just had a surgery to remove a lesion that had 40% chance of becoming cancer. I had a group text to keep family & friends informed. Nobody from family actually called to check on me. Five friends called to see how I was doing and feeling. Parents are deceased, I’m the youngest sibling (+5 to 8 years older) and the only one anybody keeps in contact with. Time to cut family? They obviously don’t care what’s going on in my life. One sibling never even responded.
