I’m curious how PwC claw backs work if we were to leave Vialto Partners? For example, I received a retention bonus in late 2021 stipulating that it must be paid back if I leave PwC within 1 year. Now that I’m no longer a PwC employee, would I have any obligation to repay the retention bonus if I quit Vialto before the 1 year mark?

Accepted a Big4 workforce transformation consulting position at SA1 level with approx 2 YOE (also in workforce trans - joined first firm as a campus recruit) for 95K in NYC. Does this salary offer sound right or did they lowball me?

For example, I’m constantly doing data entry even though I have a masters degree in economics. My bosses already know that I’m frustrated with the lack of opportunity but they say there’s nothing they can do, is it time to look for a new job?

I have been given a sick note by my doctor to get my hours altered and be on light duty because I’m having crazy pregnancy insomnia. Since I’m not ready to talk about my pregnancy it just says Stress anxiety and tiredness. I’m just really worried this will reflect badly on me but I have become so inefficient at work. Alvarez and Marsal is wanting me to come in at an associate level although I’m a senior in Big 4 FDD. Thoughts on this? Person told me associates at A&M get around 90k base plus bonus and seniors there get around 120 plus bonus. Should I push for Senior, and how would I even do that? I already verbally expressed that desire. Should I just wait a few months till I have more than a year of senior experience? Any associates shed light on their bonus? Is it 100% of your salary or more like 20-30%?

So I'm considering a switch from law to consulting, and noticed EY has started posting salary ranges for positions. All the mid- to senior-level jobs I'm looking at are in the $95k to $150k range. Is that right? True for all the big 4? Seems super low. I guess I never thought about it before but how exactly do you folks get paid?

I'm a 27-year-old tax attorney who made $255,000 last year and every time I buy something, they always comment on how it must be nice to be able to afford it or they act like it's ridiculously expensive.

I finally responded by saying that it is nice but it's even sweeter that it wasn't given to me at all. I don't understand people's obsession with a particular dollar amount. I don't judge what other people spend their money on.

When she asked me how much I make and I told her I just hit my 6 digits, she's telling me she's already halfway there. She's a consultant and makes 150k per year. Went out with her couple times and my mom paid for everything cause she never offered to pay. Got an offer from a good firm and she's surprised I got the offer. She's fake and diff around coworker
