My batchmate from old IIM is working at BCG after graduation in 2021 and told me that he has been working on tech strategy kind of projects. Is this normal? I thought MBB means pure strategy/due diligence projects. I am working at a big 4 and am doing similar tech consulting type projects. Was actually preparing for case interviews hoping to crack a MBB or Kearney type firm. But now worried. Can someone share some more info about projects at mbb. I found it to be really engaging to play a game with virtual students where you choose one student to leave the meet for 10 seconds- similar to hiding their eyes- and then give the others either a vocabulary word, or a number and when the student returns, they have to give clues to help them guess the word, or number. It can be adapted to many different subjects and is super fun for them.
I don’t know what grade you teach, but I’ve found once I model the game, I can let them lead each other, especially when it’s with a number
I do not want to and potentially do not believe I can continue the hybrid model of students in person and online. It is creating larger gaps many have been struggling to close.
IHS1, I have students who *say* they work better remotely, but their grades say otherwise. In middle school we see a lot of kids electing to go remote because "it's easier." 🙄

I think teaching online would be so difficult for elementary, especially lower grades!!! I am so thankful for each and every one of you elementary teachers!!!!
Have you tried Pear Deck? I teach kindergarten and it was relatively easy to teach them to use it!
Is it possible for your in person kids to “lead” a lesson or game or small group read aloud etc. to give you a few minutes to work directly with your virtual kiddos? Even a short time of silent reading might do the trick.
I hear you.
My kids love live Quizziz and prodigy game .org. They compete and you can select the standards you are covering for the day.
I taught my kids 20 questions this week. It took awhile for them to catch on to the idea of broad questions, however they love it!
