Has anyone actually looked at the math, calculated, and compared a freelance day rate of about 1-1.2k, booked for whatever % of the year, versus a full time staff salary of say, 200k… at what numbers do they even out when you factor in taxes, health insurance, paid vaca time etc? Do you HAVE to sign anything when you resign? If it was actually important/required paperwork (NDAs, non-solicitation, etc) they would’ve made you sign at time of hire, right?

Sometimes in my leadership meetings I want to jump up and yell “PEOPLE OVER PROFITS. Anarchy! Anarchy!” and see what happens. They’ll think I’m joking but then I’ll jump on the table and start yelling “Too legit. Too legit 2 quit” while doing the running man and use my foot to close everyone’s lap top.
