If you say that you would have released offers to 2 or more resources so that there's no dependency in worst case where new recruit turns down the offer.

I know python so naturally have an inclination towards pyspark, but is it enough to get a job or Scala is necessity?

Is there a point when MBA doesn't make financial sense? I'm 29 at $180k base with additional compensation typically around 15-25% over the last few years.

I like what I'm doing I think, but a top MBA had always been one of those personal goals of mine. Goal would be to maybe switch to MBB where I think compensation is slightly higher than what I'm getting right now at my level.

Does it make sense to do a 2 year program, probably be $200k in debt and miss out on $400k earnings :(?

Hello guys, my colleague said he's facing issues with his client's Oracle database. He said it took his team 8 weeks to query the database. Database size is 3TB. Eventually, he wants to delete all data from the database and then shrink the database. The deletion will probably take forever to happen too. How can he optimize queries to the database? It’s so freaking heart-breaking to see my child (elementary age) fall sick and be absolutely miserable. He’s just this joyful, innocent, kind, energetic, and excitable bundle of love and is in so much pain and discomfort and my heart is just 😭😭😭😭😭. Grateful it’s just a fever (we hope), and I know some kids (and others) have it so much worse. Be healthy y’all ❤️

I hate my project manager. They constantly get credit for my work, don’t pay attention in meetings and leave early.
Today they literally asked me what the roadblock was 30 min after we got off a call that they were on their phone the whole time during. Then they were asking when everyone’s flights were because they wanted to leave early but didn’t want to be the first to leave since they’re staying the weekend and they then just up and left at 2pm. It’s ridiculous.

When I got promoted to this Manager position, I was expecting to learn as I go and eventually establish a healthy team. 1 year in and I’ve had all 5 team members recruited on the team leave. 3 were promoted themselves, 1 left the company to join the marines, and 1 was let go.
