Considering a role with CVS Health at the Sr. Advisor level. Does anyone have any insight into compensation at this level? I’m expecting an offer soon and would like to know for negotiations.

I’m currently interviewing for a Workday Presales role, wanting to try something new, but wonder how difficult it might be to transition back to a consulting role if I decide this path isn’t the right one for me. I have an HCM and payroll certification and based on what I understand from my interviews so far I’d get additional certifications and would need to know the HCM space well, but wouldn’t be doing much complex configuration myself, mostly presenting and talking about the products.

NYC couple with $10K take home per month (about $280K pre-tax). Advisable to buy a home for $750K? A 20% down payment plus closing costs will knock out most of our savings. Monthly mortgage, tax/maintenance, insurance costs seem to add up to about $3500

(Senior manager to manager) I emailed the recruiter to follow up before I saw the posting. Is it tacky to apply for it? I don’t even know what to think at this moment.

I wish attorneys who were barred last century would join us in this century. An opposing counsel emails me to gripe about me not returning his call. Clearly, he can email but instead insists on just leaving his name and number, and demanding a call back, then emailing when I have not called. Maybe if you tell me what you want in the email that you know how to send, you might make progress. He was also rude to our paralegal the first time he called, hence my preference for email.

Heard PWC is going to significantly reduce bonuses. They pay better than others. The talk is they want to be aligned to other firms
