Hi everyone, I recently left Deloitte as a Senior Manager and I only have the behavioural interview left for Accenture as SM (I’ve been told that it is organised by the US firm).
Any insights on preparing for this interview and negotiating a sign on bonus would be kindly appreciated (beyond what’s on the web). My salary when I left D was 220 plus bonus. In appreciation I will transfer $100 USD to the best and most upvoted answer as of May 3rd at 1000h EST. Thank you! Accenture Deloitte
It’s one of the best in the nation. We are blowing money fast for new hires like you. Make sure you ask for a lot of $$$ to keep you engaged and performing
Do you have an idea of how much I should be asking for as a S&C analyst (experienced hire) in AI?
Literally just joined Applied Intelligence, so I’m definitely not an expert on the team or anything. But I had the same concerns as you, so I messaged practically everyone I could find on LinkedIn that worked in Applied Intelligence that had a similar title to the one I was interviewing for. I was surprised that everyone had only positive things to say! They really reinforced that your experience is really all project based, but Accenture supports you by really pushing to pursue continuous learning. And they seem to offer projects per your own self-described skills and “specialization” (basically your career goals, what industry/work interests you, etc.), so you can basically tailor your experience at Accenture to how you want to grow, which is really cool, I think. Besides that though, again, one’s experience is mostly based on the project.
Accenture1 - Can I DM you to chat more about the role?
Sure
If you’re going in as a senior as for 130 minimum.
I can tell you managers with over 6 years of experience here in Canada are on average at $140-$150k.
Wow! Surprised that at Consultant level there’s a $150k compensation. Nice one ;)
I’m in Applied Intelligence since almost 3 years. Made it to consultant in June. Not in the US, but worked within a US based team and for a US project for the last year.
Except I had to wait 6 months more than I wanted to get my Analyst->Consultant, I am very pleased. Learning a lot, nice team, amazing work.
Last year was a roller coaster with solutioning from POV, POC, and finally a product. I should be leaving the project soon as developing a product is not what I prefer, not enough challenges anymore IMHO. Implementation often goes to India, way cheaper and works great when everything is defined and decided.
