Has anyone ever worked with OOH agency Encompass Media? www.emgmediainc.com. thinking of hiring them for a campaign. Thx
How hard is it to transfer from a non-Big 4 national firm to a role in M&A tax at a Big 4?
Top consulting firms hiring right now?
Got an offer from another B4. What pieces of comp/benefits are actually negotiable? Base, sign-on? And if they won’t negotiate on those two, what else can be discussed? Thanks in advanced!
Hi, Consulting Moms! I need advice - I am leaving industry to return to consulting. I have offers from KPMG and Deloitte, and we are looking to start a family ASAP (we have been actively trying and I have a feeling it would be just my luck to start a new job and find out I’m pregnant). Would love your insight around personal experience with hours per week, work-life balance, culture, etc. Offers are same level/role/scope (Change Management / Transformation / Human Capital) and same salary. TY!
Hello, what is an average salary for a Senior Product Manager at AWS in the northeast? Thanks!
What are your thoughts on moving from analytics consulting in pharma (incentive compensation, forecasting) to strategy consulting? I recently made the same move as strategy consulting was something I was looking to explore for a long time but not entirely confident if I made the right choice. 4YOE here
Anyone attended Coderpad interview in Capgemini ? What and all it consists of ? Role : Automation testing YOE : 4.5 years Please give a suggestion if you have attended. TIA
Applied for an SM position at pwc and interviewers mentioned that it is for an SM position as well. But the offer came out as M. Recruiter said it is just a title and doesn’t have any implications but more I look, it does look like an downgrade. Is this common? I am currently an SM and it is in tech consulting area.
Any insights on the current salary to expect as a senior account supervisor/senior account manager in health at a PR/Comms agency? I know salaries have grown with demand over the past year so not sure what to ask for. Top ten agency, DC.
If offered a job at a promising but small HF, what's the least (base salary) that you would take on the position for?
Just started at a Family Law firm and am low on work (came from another state so didn't bring my clients with me). It has been a while since I started fresh. I make a decent base salary but I need those billable hours to make more. How long does it take to be busy again!? I've joined an expanding firm and the lead attorney is helping me by giving me tasks to do. Just not as busy as I'm used to (this will be my 3rd week). Just need a pep talk I think 😊
Would a PMO role help me to get a Product manager or program manager role ? Would it count as a relevant work experience?
Hello Fishes, there are few questions hitting to my mind about PWC AC, can you please help me clear this. 1. Benefits included and when does my eligibility start at PWC 2. Other perks(telecommuting perks and stock options) at PWC 3. vacation time and sick leave at PWC 4. Bonus compensation (Yearly / Mid year Bonus, Joining Bonus) Thanks!!
I’m talking with a recruiter and she is saying the base is $150,000 with $175K in equity. I have never worked in Private so I’m not exactly sure what that means. I am assume if it’s a 4 year vest my annual total comp would be approximately $190K ish?
3 weeks ago I applied to a CM role with KPMG and last Thursday I received an email to fill out the KPMG Online Employment Application as I move forward to the interviewing process and contact my recruiter with any questions. However, no recruiters have reached out to me yet. What should I do? (I applied on my own and am not in the referral program)
Does anyone have any general sense of salary ranges for a Paid Media Director client-side? Would be overseeing in-house media execution—not overseeing an agency.
What's the approximate salary and TC for a Sr. Program Manager at Amazon? Does it vary by department or location?
I've just been offered a job at a big 4. I've been sent an email for background verification with a link to internal job portal. I've been asked to fill out a form that includes past employers. TBC
I am 30 and just got promoted to Senior manager. I think I am doing well but I feel I am driven more by pessimism, imposter syndrome, and fear of getting fired as opposed to a positive mindset and the desire to thrive in my career. I feel like I am suffering from some sort of a mental issue but wanted to throw it out here and get some advice to deal with this from the fishbowl fam as opposed to going to therapy. Thanks in advance for your responses!
I work at a school with limited resources. My walls are a dingy white, the tables are old, harsh fluorescent lighting, etc. What are some suggestions for creating a warm/inviting classroom space?
What credentials do you need to get into MBB. I have a 4 yr B.E undergrad and an MIS grad degree. Worked for an IT services firm for 2.5 years, Deloitte for a year and now KPMG. Any tips?
Mamas - what are the most creative solutions to schooling you have seen for next year as alternatives? Is there something your school districts are doing that you think is creative and unique? Are you hiring teachers and creating pods? Renting space? I have twins entering kindergarten. I trying to find them a bridge program to act as a kindergarten but also exploring other options. I do know that a virtual environment while I work 50-60 hour weeks is not the best solution!
If you start in June, would you expect an increase to your base comp for year end/January, or expect to see a bump the following June?
Anyone in Adobe Experience Manager (AEM) space? I am AEM architect and looking for change. Open for referral, if your team/company is hiring for AEM architect/Lead? Thanks
Hi all, it's my first time getting promoted and my salary increase is lower than anticipated. Any tips on negotiating? Do i need a counter offer? How do I stay unemotional and how do I talk about this effectively? I really only wanted another $5k, I was on the lower side of the range despite getting the highest rating and a lot of positive feedback. I'm not sure why I'm getting paid less than my peers despite getting a higher rating.
I accepted an offer from another firm and gave notice to my direct partner on Friday. He asked me to wait a few days as a courtesy before giving notice to the firm’s managing partner. The partner I work for knows several of the attorneys at the firm where I got the offer. He is now coming back to me and saying my current firm will match the salary, offer better hours, better title, etc. Needless to say, I’m torn. How bad is it to walk back on an accepted offer? We are in a smaller legal market.
Had a medical abortion today (i dont care to hear anyones opinion about the subject) and im disappointed how much much my fiance is minimizing the situation. Seems like he cares more about work than checking up on me
Recently started a new gig (less than three months). Team is great but client is a nightmare, deadlines and workload are insane and unforgiving and the type of work is a dead end road creatively. Another recruiter reached out with a role that is closer to the kind of work I want to be doing - is it awful to jump ship so soon? The agency is great but in remote mode I don’t have any interactions outside my team. Recruiting agency is newer and less established. Advice?
Are the layoffs finished? Or are they still going on? I am trying to figure out if I in the green for now.
Today was my last day at the client site. According to my client, "everyone deserves a TV show exit," so he played the song "closing time" as I left the office. This should be industry standard.
A firm said they’d like to receive applications from and interview more candidates before making a final decision on my interviews. Does this mean they are unlikely to offer as they want to see other candidates who may be better?
Considering applying for an entry level business analyst (consulting) position at a competitor Big 4 firm. I just completed my first year in audit, so I’m wondering if it’s still appropriate for me to apply as entry level instead of experienced hire?
Semi-recently took a new job and underwhelmed by my partner and the agency. Worried I won't get the work I need for book. Do I jump now or wait it out? Wait it out being a few more months, not a year.
Where do more boutique firms (like Oliver Wyman, Roland Berger, Huron, zs, slalom) rank in comparison to big 4 or Accenture or ibm? I know mbb is top tier but I feel like everyone else is debatable
