You’re going to get a lot of jokes here. The real answer is it depends on the office, and that only goes so far. As a whole, I wouldn’t rank diversity high on JD’s big picture priority list.

Serious answer: some offices are trying, and some groups are okay to work with. I have colleagues who seem genuinely happy at JD (or maybe they’re good at hiding the Stockholm Syndrome). But the black box compensation system still results in a lot of mistrust and I’ve heard through the grapevine that despite the lawsuits and the scrutiny on that system, anyone who isn’t a straight white male still gets shafted by that process.
