Recently Store Managers have been offering me jobs from different locations but same company in my town. The company is T-Mobile. It’s going to be my first job. I have a couple questions for any former/current employees. Is it better to work for T-Mobile, metro by T-Mobile, or a third party T-Mobile? Any difference in benefits or wage? Thanks

Im a JD at Cornell and I live with two JD/MBAs. You sacrifice a first year summer job as a dual degree student (~40k if you get a biglaw job, which is becoming far more common). However, plenty of firms do give MBA bonuses -tho im not sure if the bonus fully compensates increased tuition, opportunity cost, etc. In terms of applying, Cornell is pretty generous about letting admitted JDs join the joint program.
A JD is tough but certainly manageable. If you’re certain you want to go down this route, you need to focus on killing the LSAT. JD applications are mostly based on LSAT +GPA, though experience certainly helps. Feel free to dm if you have any specific questions

Yeah it seems you have your application plan pretty much set. I wouldn’t worry too much about the smaller details, like whether to change who submits letters of rec, etc. The common wisdom is that 75-80% of your application is based off of GPA + LSAT so in your case just finish undergrad strong and do well on GMAT/GRE.
Best of luck!
@Cornell 1 — Still not too familiar with using this app so hopefully you can see this reply:
I am vying to have my firm financially sponsor my enrollment at an MBA program. The approach you shared above seems to be that of a student whose primary focus is their legal career, but wants to add an MBA. I think my situation is the opposite: I consider myself a business student who wants to add a JD. I don’t anticipate applying for law schools individually; it would only be as part of a joint-application JD/MBA program, like Kellogg’s.
From what I can tell so far, I wouldn’t need to take the LSAT because joint applications accept only the GRE and/or only the GMAT.
Not super sure what else would be required though. For example, wondering if the ideal submitters of recommendations changes (given business schools want a supervisor from work and law schools largely suggest 2 academics).
