Considering quitting ACN mid-project to become an FTE for my previous client, but my current client is at the same company and I might run into him. Thoughts on best way to leave? Should I care?

Travels 3 hrs one way to clients office to present a deck. Sets up in the clients conference room and dials in for the team to listen in and so does the client. presents to client over the phone 🤦‍♀️

I’m on a team with a partner and five associates, most of us being in offices in different cities. The partner said he wanted a day for us to work in person at his office so we can better coordinate and do a team dinner. I’m a third year associate, and this will be my first time traveling for work. The partner said the client will pay for the flight and hotel. My question is whether I can also bill for the travel time. What’s your experience?

I’m currently in the middle of a settlement payment dispute and my partner has totally abandoned me. Applying to a job and one of the only real requirement is to show how I’m “adept at understanding client needs, and designing and implementing creative solutions”. My issue is I work in risk advisory and most of our client engagements don’t actually involve implementation. We usually present our findings and recommendations and move on.

I feel like just as you can set “Do Not Deliver Before” times on your outgoing emails, you should also be able to easily set “Do Not Disturb” times for incoming emails to be held in a queue until your receipt window opens up. Anyone know if this is possible?
