Only put in enough to get employer match and no more. Start building up an emergency fund right now. Anything else put into Roth IRA

I think it depends on the actual numbers here. Are you maxing out your 401k right now, or just contributing enough for an employer match? If you are maxing it out, that’s a lot of savings on a $75k salary and I would think you are okay right now.
If you are only contributing a couple of % to 401k, with your $1300 rent, you could probably save more each month.
Should definitely have more at $1300 rent.. maybe have a high loan balance or other fixed expenses you aren’t mentioning? I’m at the same exact salary, 6% 401k for max match, $1500 rent, and I save at least 1k a month during covid
How much are you putting towards 401k?
8% I contribute
What else are you spending on? I was making $65k with $1700 rent and still saved a few hundred monthly. Do you have loans, or other high expenses?
You should start by making a spreadsheet of all your expenses, fixed and discretionary. It’ll help you figure out what you’re wasting money on. It’s sorta typical to blow one paycheck on rent + utils but you should still have something left after. I was making 80k and paying 1650 rent and still had a decent chunk leftover for a long time.
Once you’ve got it all in the same place you need to convince yourself that maybe you can walk a few blocks with groceries instead of fresh direct or learn to cook a few things instead of restaurants every night or whatever you’re doing wrong. 1300 is cheap, you should be doing fine.
