@Ass1 yes it has, especially when immature people call me shrimp or small fry. It's just that my knees hit about 4 inches out from the chair so it never crossed my mind that others might have a WHOLE EXTRA FOOT worth of upper thigh. It's all about perspective so maybe please try to open my mind politely next time. Was asking a serious question not trying to get blown up
@deloitte they redo all of the seats all the time, along with configurations. There is an industry standard for recline that most manufacturers follow and it has to do with the distance from the front of the seat to back of the head rest when fully reclined. Reclining doesn't reduce the amount of leg room you have it. (I'm an aerospace engineer)
Why? Stop crying about it. Recline yours if it makes you feel better. It's there for a reason.
Why do people care about reclining? Not sure if it's just because I'm small but I don't get it
They should just remove the recline function from economy seats.
If you were behind me, I'd recline just because you're being a little bitch.
Knees to back.
"It's there for a reason"? Recline was put there decades ago when there was more legroom. Airlines don't want to redo their seats so they can't recline, but they LOVE squishing you right up to the seat in front of you. It's criminal that a 50s era standard is so physically painful when leaning into someone's lap. Compounding that is use of laptops and having someone slam into it. Grrr. It's not the passengers that are the problem, it's the airlines. I never lean back unless the seat behind me is empty.
No. You recline and stop whining.
What airlines are y'all flying where the tiny angle of recline they allow makes a significant impact on the person behind you?
People care because you should give some consideration to the comfort of others. Just because you can recline the seat doesn't mean that you should. If the person behind you is not short or carries a little extra weight then be courteous enough to not lean back and make their flight uncomfortable.
Just reach over and give him a quick shoulder massage. Assure him that you want him to be completely comfortable. Make him think you mean it.
Btw, I just reclined my seat while reading this post 🍆
I'm 6'4. Like I said earlier, cry about it.
Well this escalated pretty quickly 🍿
It's there for a reason.
Yeah, toss those anti-recline clowns off the damn plane right behind acn1.
Stroke his hair
Suck it up. Toughen up. You sound like a whining millennial.
I'm gonna recline the shit out of my seat Monday morning.
If you recline, you're just a douche.
