Accenture and Deloitte are hiring like crazy right now

like

2 weeks. Accenture Fed.

Might as well look at Booz too.

Hiring cadence depends on market type. What kind of role are you looking for?

Sounds good, I would fall under the Data Analyst role.

I can refer you to EY. Let me know

Yes

Deloitte is hiring a ton of open positions now. I’d be happy to refer you

If you're a capable data analyst with a good background and are clearable, DC is your oyster. Any consulting firm and places like Capital One will be hiring. I'd start there.

Hi all, not to steal from OPs post but would anyone be willing to talk further or refer me for Human Capital/Org Effectiveness experienced hire roles? I have 1.5yrs of direct exp with Cognizant and looking to move to D.C soon

Sure if you are interested in guidehouse let me know, fishingfisher2000@gmail.com

What's the best course of action when you find yourself at a job that's far more chaotic than you assessed while interviewing? Upon starting this job a couple of weeks ago, I discovered between the time I interviewed and my start date they had hired a new CEO, laid off all of their off-shore teams, changed my position to a new hiring manager, and added an on-call rotation to all engineering teams. None of this showed up in my research of the company or my interviews.

3 years ago I asked for a compensation review/raise, went through what felt like a ridiculous 8 MONTH long process of defending why it was warranted, only to be told no. 3 months ago I asked again and it has gone nowhere. I should add that salary bands are kept secret and I have no clue what the range for my position is. There are a decent amount of benefits in my position, the biggest being WLB, which is what has kept me here for so long. But I’m getting frustrated. What would you do?

Is anyone else finding it difficult to get a raise this year because of market conditions? Advice needed! I started at an ID firm only a few months ago after a long stint doing in-house litigation. I was referred to the firm by a very good friend who also still works there. A management position at my old in-house firm has now been offered to me. Higher salary obviously and no billables. I am seriously dreading talking to my new boss and telling my friend that I want to go back in-house. Has anyone dealt with something similar? I just feel so bad and don’t want to burn bridges

I have my final interview for a recruiting position at a well known company. Are there any questions I should be prepared for or be prepared to ask? It is a remote position and I’ve had 2 previous interviews. The manager who I will work for said he likes me and definitely want to move forward but I just have to get through this last interview so I really want to make a good impression and pass.

Hi all, I’m looking to re-enter the workforce. I had to take a career pause @ the beginning of the pandemic because I had a child. I have 5+ years of experience in life science (bench top, pathology in a hospital, startup, and most recently clinical research). I’d like to make a slight pivot into a health informatics, clinical data or data analytics position but I’m also open to non clinical research positions like regulatory/quality assurance etc. Does anyone have any recommendations? TIA

Three observations from my market analysis this week:
1) Still work to do in repairing damaged trends with only energy and financials up over the last month
2) Technology has issues with rates, valuations, and supply chains for chips, so this could be heavy on the indexes
3) Setup for the week is concerning with OPEX, lots of data releases, and almost no IVOL premium - lots of event risk and limited hedging in place

I'm hiring and I've just learned that my HR department is screening candidates by asking them about very specific functions and frameworks.

"Can you describe your experience using Element#remove()?"

"Can you describe your experience migrating from X framework to Y framework?"

We don't use Y framework and have no plans to use Y framework in the foreseeable future. I also don't expect candidates to have all functions memorized. How on Earth did they find out about Y framework!? 🙄🫣

Hi Everyone,
Any suggestions on networking in the private finance sector?
I recently transitioned from public to private sector finance to be more well-rounded and I’m having a hard time connecting with people in the space. I work for a fund admin in the digital asset space for HF & PE/VC firms and I noticed how much “bro culture” seems to impact the industry. Networking is hard enough working from home but I know how important it is to make those connections.
