Usually with too much offshore either quality degrades and/or their are major gaps in how it works vs how it’s suppose to work. Offer expertise, because there is no winning the discount race to the bottom
Be a true client partner, offer insights and strategy instead of just implementing features they want in Salesforce. I've worked both sides and can guarantee that there's a huge quality difference between offshore vs fully onsite.
Provide tools and training to your onshore teams to make them efficient. Higher cost per hour on shore but if you need fewer hours to get the work done it compensates.
Additionally as said above offer more than just implementation - be a client partner helping them add value and change instead of just being an order taker
My firm has strong onshore dev capacity that allows high quality work delivery. A lot of efforr goes into hiring good technical onshore people who can develop and grow along with the firm.
Canada is great!
