Does anyone at Rutgers know where I can find a flexible part-time job for students on campus? I only found two campus positions on handshake and haven’t heard back from either yet. I feel like there has to be a lot more out there than what I’ve seen on handshake
Something similar to the digital classroom support specialist or tech help desk would be great. I consider myself tech savvy

I got a verbal offer from ACN two weeks ago, and the recruiter told me I could expect a written offer in a few days. I haven’t receive it by now…followed up with the recruiter today, and she told me hopefully I will get it over the weekend or by Monday. Is this normal? Should I be worried? The recruiter told me they really wanted me and the team has a lot of projects lining up and I really like the team..Accenture

First off go heels!
Second, fractional staffing certainly has its ups and downs. You get a wider variety of projects and it can be nice to focus on another project if you dislike one. The staffers do a pretty good job of keeping your billables 40-50 hrs/week. You’ll definitely learn time management and how to communicate to project managers your commitments.
Cons are getting into situations where a project that says 10 hrs/week but actually take 20, making your actual billables higher. These are definitely not ideal and they advocate you speak up but sometimes can just be a crappy few weeks. It can also work in the reverse role though! A 20 hr/week really only taking 10. Secondly, often projects can run longer than their initial timeline. ZS has a way to mitigate it by allowing you to edit foreseeable hours/project, but you have to be diligent about this ahead of time so your staffer knows not to staff you.
Overall, I’ve worked at 2 fractional staffing firms and ZS does it 1,000 times better. As far as consulting goes, I think they really do a good job of keeping you happy. Good luck!
Thank you so much this really clears things up
