3 imo .. I think that % cuts are the most equitable measure for a crisis that affects everyone
#2, getting rid of the bottom 10% helps the 90% be far more efficient. Companies are too risk averse, they’d rather deal with the known deadbeats then hire a bunch of new people. But logically, it’s pretty unlikely the new 10% is worse than the current bottom 10%
Did you all read the whole sentence? Some of those 10% probably shouldn’t be there but are simply due to politics

It escapes my understanding as to how we can be claiming and repping as the leading revenue consulting firm yet still be unable to take a bit of a bath revenue wise for a year.

You're not doing any favors by pitying people. Often low performers need a kick in the pants and really try again at new firm, or even to realize they aren't a fit / interested in this industry
